How To Find Killer Selling Products On Clickbank

By Danny Palsley

ClickBank is used by over 10,000 web businesses and 100,000 affiliates to deliver their products and services instantly over the Internet like Ebooks, software and site which provide web based access.

There are two types of users active on Clickbank:
Vendors or publishers: They use Clickbank to handle the complete ordering and payment collection process through credit cards, echecks and Paypal. Clickbank automatically pays an affiliate, in case sales is made to a user who is redirected from an affiliates link. In short Clickbank bills the customer and pays the vendor and affiliate as per percentage fixed by vendor. Clickbank has a limit of $50 as the maximum price which a product may have. However in rare circumstances they may approve limits up to $200.

Affiliates: Affiliates earn revenue by selling (referring users to Clickbank through special links) products. They can also make money as a reseller by referring other affiliates and vendors to ClickBank . It’’s free to become an affiliate.

How does Clickbank Marketplace Works?

ClickBank’’s affiliates earn a percentage of every purchase of customers who are referred to ClickBank product for purchasing products. ClickBank affiliates select product from ClickBank Marketplace.

Every product listed in the ClickBank Marketplace is associated with a sales commission rate. Commission percentages range from 1% to 75%. On any one sale the minimum commission is $0.25 and the maximum is $100.00.

Clickbank provides a rating system to help affiliates select products.

How does Clickbank’’s product ranking system work?

Clickbank gives a Popularity Rank to products based on “productivity score”. This rank depends on four factors:

USD earned per sale: Average net amount earned per affiliate per referred sale. The net earned per actual sale includes refunds, chargebacks, and sales taxes.

Percentage earned per sale: Average percentage commission earned per affiliate per referred sale. This number will vary only if the publisher changes the payout percentage over time.

Percentage referred: Percentage publisher’’s total sales that paid to referring affiliates.

Gravity: Number of distinct affiliates who earned a commission by referring a paying customer to the publisher’’s products. This is a weighted sum and not an actual total.

How to select killer products on ClickBank?

Lets divide the products into different categories.

Products which are slowly gaining in popularity: Select a few products and look at their popularity trend. Is it dropping slowly (Decreasing trend indicates that the product is getting popular)? It means product is making steady sales. Users are liking the product.

But, before you jump in. Check the sales page of the product. Is it good? Find out what other people are saying about the product in different forums. Are their any complaints about the product? Contact the products publisher and ask them a few questions. Check their response for promptness. Are they answering your questions well?

Look at the gravity and earnings per sale trends. Increasing gravity means that affiliates are slowly promoting products. A steady earning per sale trend indicates that user are lking the product as they are not asking for refunds. If things seem to be in order, go ahead and promote the product.

Has product gained popularity suddenly?: A sharply falling popularity trend indicates that this may be the next killer product. Study the gravity trend along with the value for %tage referred. If gravity is low and %tage referred is low, it means you can promote the product before others start doing it.

As usual check the sales page and different forums to know what other people are saying about the product.

Products with very high popularity: These are all time popular products which have a very high and steady popularity value. Newbies should be careful of promoting these products as most probably few super affiliates with massive mailing lists maybe promoting these products!

Products with falling popularity: Be wary of promoting these products. Look at the popularity and earning per sale trends. If popularity curve is rising and earning per sale is falling (refund rate is increasing), avoid these products. Maybe the product has lost its novelty or it is not coming up to the buyers expectations.

If you are one the affiliate selling the product, it is better to stop selling it, or you may lose money!

Why is Article Marketing Important?

By Joseph Rose

Article marketing is the sharing of information. When you share information, you are also getting some benefits from it. The benefit is that you get the targeted customers that you wanted which will then resort to more profits for your business.

You may be thinking that article marketing sounds easy enough. It actually is, once you have understand its importance in your business.

Why is article marketing important?

They will give you long-lasting site traffic. How can that possibly be?

This is simply because website owners do not dispose of your articles once they have gotten new ones. What they do is that they put in into their archive sections. Whenever a visitor wants to read your articles, all they have to do is visit the archive part and they will get your articles there.

And since you still have the resource box printed in these articles, you will still receive the traffic brought by their visitors even though it has already some time before anyone got to browse through your content.

Blog authors are constantly in need of something to write about.

Nowadays, there is a large number of bloggers that are constantly looking for contents to write about. One of them may chance upon your article, find it interesting and even go as far as post them in their blog sites.

All you have to do is provide quality information on a specified topic and it will be syndicated by these bloggers once they need to update their blogs.

They get their content. You get your exposure.

Product developers need contents too.

Ezines and other forms of review subscriptions need some sort of content to go with what they are offering. If their theme is similar or somehow related to yours, they will try and reprint your articles to be put into their publications.

By using your article, they get will get more credibility to back up their own claims. When they do that, they are already considering you an expert on your field. If they do not, they would not be publishing your articles in the first place.

Again, free exposure for you along with additional credibility once it circulates around the Internet because of the subscribers of those newsletter or ezine.

You get instant authority as an expert on your field.

Like what was mentioned above, when other people begin to read what you have done, they will deem you as an expert in your business. They get to trust you enough to believe what you have written.

The link that is in your article adds to the credibility you are showing, Not only can they go visit your site and get to know more about you. They will also see more of what you have to offer. If they like what they see, they may even decide to avail of your services or buy some of your products.

Your articles get to be posted to forums related to yours.

As with blogs, forums are a means of interaction between people that have similar beliefs. Posting your article as a thread in answer to another is a means of adding more credibility on your part. By doing this, people will get to notice you.

If your article is unique and is unlike what they have read before, they might even syndicate them and put them on their sites. There is no telling how much people will get to read you and will want to have you posted on their sites also.

Articles are search engine-friendly.

If you primary goal is to achieve higher page ranks and better positions in the search engines, then article marketing is your thing.

It seems that search engines are very fond of articles. They like to put them up for the people who are always in search of information or data.

It is said that there is no better way of having visitors come to your site than having a good position in the search engines.

Are these reasons not enough for you to start and spend some time doing article marketing? Nothing can compare to what articles can do for your business.

What are you waiting for? Start your article marketing now and start reaping the benefits.

Can You Really Create Autopilot Profits and Make Money On The Internet?

By Rick Jorgenson

One of the greatest challenges on the internet is finding a way to completely automate the process to make money online without going broke.

The good news is that it is possible to create a totally, turn-key program that allows the average person, with little or no marketing experience, to generate a five figure monthly income online.

Most people who try to break into online marketing have a difficult time doing it.

Having done it myself, I can understand how they feel. It’’s easy to get sidetracked by stuff that isn”t important. It’’s easy to feel overwhelmed. It’’s very easy to think you”re not smart enough to do it.

One of the primary keys to online business success is having the right income generators on the front end of your business. Even if you build a large list of qualified people, your success is entirely dependent on having the right product offer(s) and the ability to generate instant significant cash flow.

Having only one product for your business is like a car dealer trying to sell your only white cars. What if they like red cars or blue cars? Having multiple quality products you can offer will ensure that you can properly monetize your list of prospects.

Income streams take on many different flavors:

1) Affiliate Programs

Affiliate marketing allows you to start making money online without having to create any products or services of your own. Instead, you market other people’’s products and services. Affiliate marketing is great because it is so fast and easy to get going. You can literally be in business for yourself, marketing products as an affiliate in a matter of minutes. Now, actually getting sales and making money as an affiliate marketer may not be quite as easy but it’’s not exactly hard either.

2) Marketing Information Products

This is the favorite of many and definitely one of the best ways to make a lot of money online. Creating and selling your own information product such as an ebook can make you a lot of money in a relatively short amount of time. Once you have created and started marketing your product, it can be sold over and over again for years. The best part is that you make 100% of the money from sales and your customers can download the ebook as soon as they buy it, so you don”t have to worry about any inventory or shipping costs.

3) Marketing Your Own Products

This requires a little more work and planning but you can easily hire someone through Rent-A-Coder, eLance or Guru to take your idea for a product and create it in a short period of time for less than you think. Developing your own product gives you the ultimate in control and freedom.

4) Reoccurring Income Generators (membership sites)

This is often an overlooked income stream in making money online and is one of the most important; the ability to generate residual income on a monthly basis. By either being an affiliate of or creating your own membership website you can participate in this very critical income stream.

Most online marketing gurus will tell you (over and over and over) that the one of the key ingredients for success in making money online is in building a large qualified list of prospects.

Succeeding in online marketing means being able to attract massive numbers of qualified prospects and get them to “opt-in” to your offer. This is where most people ultimately fail in their attempt to build a successful and profitable online business.

Google Adwords, ezine advertising, online classified ads, blogs, article writing, the list goes on and on. It’’s all overwhelming for most folks trying to figure the best way to drive traffic to their website and build their list.

Doing that requires that you have the right tools and programs to not only show you how to do it but also to be able to automate the process so that you aren”t spending 12 hours a day sitting in front of your computer trying to make it all work.

In conclusion, you can make huge sums of money online, allowing you to quit your job to work from home for yourself. However, it requires you to learn the necessary information to work it effectively and put in an adequate amount of time and effort. Making money online is not easy, but it’’s not exactly hard either. It can definitely be done!

Introduction To Search Engines

By Kevin Sinclair

If you”ve used the Internet before, undoubtedly you”ve come across one of these. Whether it’’s Yahoo!, Excite or Google, these search engines are pretty much your doorway to that vast cyberspace known as the Internet. They help you find the information that you”re looking for.

What’’s a search engine?

Search engines are essentially programs on the Internet that gather all the web pages that they can find and index them all together. They use specialized applications called spiders, which allow them to search throughout the Internet for websites to index.

But don”t think that just because these search engines are out there looking for new web pages day in and day out that you can create a website and wait until it gets indexed. And who knows, with the millions of websites on the Internet today, it may take quite a while for a search engine spider to find yours. The best way is to submit your site yourself, either via the web submission form on a search engine’’s website, or through a web site submission tool.

Compared to other forms of promotion on the Internet today, search engines still provide the best way to get traffic to your web site. It is one of the cheapest ways to generate new visitors in whatever niche market you”re currently in. The downside to this is that search engine promotion is getting to be more and more competitive as the Internet continues to evolve. But don”t worry, there’’s still some great ways to get good web site traffic through these services.

Different Types of Search Engines

Pay-Per-Click Search Engines

Pay-Per-Click search engines are a bit different than regular search engines, such as Google and MSN. Instead of the search engines indexing and ranking your site based on content, they actually allow you to bid for certain keywords for your site. Here’’s how it works:

1. You set a price for how much you”re willing to pay for each click for keywords that relate to your product or service.

2. When someone searches for that keyword, you”re site comes up in the search.

3. If that visitor decides to click on over to your website, you have to pay for that click.

A good thing about Pay-Per-Click search engines is that you only have to pay for the traffic that the search engine sends you, not like a random banner ad that a visitor may not even look at. You also don”t have to wait so long to rank high for your chosen keywords; all you have to do is bid higher than everyone else and you”ll be on the top of the rankings.

If you want to find out more about Pay-Per-Click search engines, try visiting some of the following popular ones such as Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing, and 7search.

Directories

Directories, despite what other people may say are not the same as the other search engines. They usually do not use automation tools such as spiders. They are run and created by people, who review web sites that are submitted to them, and place them in their proper category or criteria. A good example of this is Yahoo Directory or DMOZ.

Meta-Search Engines

If you want to be able to search different search engines all at the same time, try using a meta-search engine. These search engines go out and get search results from a number of different search engines and show them all to you on one page. This makes it a whole lot easier on you, so that you don”t have to visit each search engine separately just to look for whatever it is you need. One example of a search engine like this is Dogpile.

World Internet Marketing Summit Seminars

By Sherman Choo

I was contacted the other day by a lady who had been contemplating whether or not to sign up for an internet marketing course. Since such courses are usually not cheap, with a price tag of USD1500 being the norm, she was looking for someone who had “been there and done that”, to shed some light on whether such courses were effective. Besides I had been referred by a mutually trusted friend who had benefited from my trial and error internet marketing experience over a cup of coffee.

By the way, some of the things I”ve personally got my hands dirty with include Google Adwords, Blogging with Blogger and Wordpress softwares, RSS to Blog 4.5, RSS to Blog Mass Installer, Affiliate Marketing Systems, Leverage Affiliate Marketing, Sales of Info Products, Co Reg Leads, Multiple Traffic Exchanges Lead Generation, Offline to Online Marketing, Article Marketing, Video Syndication, Forum Marketing, Co Registration Marketing, Automated Income Systems, Copy Writing, Email Marketing, 3 different auto responder services, and 3 types of hosting services, Niche Marketing with Adwords and Name Squeeze pages, and Viral Marketing.

What may not work for some may work for others. At the end of the day, tempering focus and knowing when to dump an internet project to move on can only be obtained through experience. Some tools I paid money for helped fatten my bank account, others gave me less then stellar results. (At this point, I dare to say that there is no one tool on the internet that is going to make you rich. It’’s the right chemistry of a few tools and techniques coming together that fattens ones bank account)

Going for an internet marketing course is like paying to get a degree. Does getting a degree guarantee that you are going to become rich and successful? It does not. It’’s what we do with the knowledge, the doors that opened because of the degree that determine whether we become rich or not in future.

Its important to realize that after attending such seminars, there is going to be work to be done. The earth will not move without applying the knowledge. The most important thing is to 1st find out if anyone you know has succeeded in making money after applying the techniques outlined in the course.

Internet Marketing sounds sexy, and it is, there are people I know living the lifestyle of an internet wealth tycoon, and its an exciting lifestyle. When people think of making money from the internet, the idea is that they can make lots money even in their sleep or without having to sell anything face to face. Its also a great alternative income. At least these were my motivation factors that drew me to making money from the internet.

So before signing for an internet marketing seminar, be prepared to do work after the excitement is over in order to realize the internet wealth tycoon dream. If you”re able to commit to this, then seminars are worth going for.

Relying On Free Travel Insurance Could Leave You Stranded

By Gary Terrazas

Consumers often rely on the travel insurance available as part of their credit card facility, medical aid cover or insurance policies, but this could leave travellers stranded in a foreign country without the funds to receive adequate assistance or medical treatment.

Relying on the free travel insurance available as part of your credit card facility, medical aid cover or insurance policies, could leave you stranded in a foreign country without sufficient cover for adequate assistance or medical treatment.

In the excitement of arranging a dream holiday, many of us are tempted to gloss over the administrative details. Unfortunately, dream holidays can turn into nightmares without the right travel insurance to offer comprehensive protection when things go wrong.

From tsunamis and malaria infection to broken bones, heart attacks and stolen or lost luggage - these unexpected events are some of the real risks you face during your otherwise meticulously planned holiday.

Consumers often rely on the travel insurance available as part of their credit card facility, medical aid cover or insurance policies. Travellers usually only have a vague idea of what these covers entail, because the details are not carefully explained and the policies are seldom customised to meet specific individual needs.

In most cases, the traveller would need to request the full details of the cover packaged within credit card facilities or insurance policies from the financial institution or insurance company. Travel agents also offer travel insurance, but are unlikely to dampen the traveller’’s enthusiasm by getting into details of an insurance contract.

So while it is easy to simply rely on the cover packaged into a credit card facility or insurance policy, the one-size-fits-all approach taken by these covers introduce the risk of travellers not receiving the cover they expected - an option that could be extremely expensive in the long run.

This fact is clearly evidenced by the many complaints received by the short-term insurance Ombud. Most of the complaints relate to the fact that the limits of the cover are only brought to the travellers” attention after an event that gives rise to a claim has taken place.

These limits define the amount of cover the travellers will have if they fall ill or are injured in a foreign country, where medical costs may be much higher than at home. Also important are the exclusions and conditions of the policy. For example, any injuries or losses related to pre-existing medical conditions, chronic illnesses, hazardous activities, terrorist acts, acts of war, civil disturbance or riots are excluded by many policies.

There is only one way you can protect yourself against claims being repudiated, and that is by getting a copy of the policy, reading it carefully and ensuring you completely understand the terms, conditions, exclusions, limits and your responsibilities in terms of the policy.

This seldom happens, though, as in the excitement of buying plane tickets and booking luxury hotel rooms, very few consumers want to read the fine print on an insurance contract. Often, time is also of the essence, making it even less likely that consumers will take the time to study the insurance cover.

The result is that thousands of travellers fly off to their destinations, not knowing what cover is in place and what procedures they should follow if something happens.

Having the right travel insurance will ensure that minor inconveniences such as lost luggage, flight delays and the cancellation of events will not ruin your holiday. It will also ensure you can enjoy complete peace of mind that you will be fully covered to receive the best treatment and evacuation services in the event of a medical emergency or a disaster.

Making Money Online Is A Numbers Game

By Chris Rohrer

Everyone searches the Internet in hopes of hitting it big. Ill be the first to admit it I was and still am one of those people today. I found that Internet marketing and earning money online isnt all that hard as everyone makes it out to be. To me its just a big numbers game. The facts are simple, and if you do the math it all ads up.

The more quality traffic you send to a website the more money you will earn. Now sure that sounds easier said then done. There are a few things I am leaving out, and they are where to send this traffic, and how to get this traffic. Now most people send all their website traffic to a sales page which could lead to you making sales. However your probably throwing more money away then you know about. Why? Because a sales page is not where you should be sending your targeted traffic.

You should first send your traffic to what is called a lead capture page. This way if they are dead serious about making money online they will have to fill out a form to find out more information. What this does is it in away filters out the serious people from the tire kickers. We all know time is money, and the last thing we would want to do is spend countless hours talking to people who are just going to waste your time. Lets face it I am sure we all have done that before.

You have better things to do with your time then talk to someone who is just a tire kicker. You could be out marketing and finding other people who are serious about earning extra money online.

Now the other thing I left out was where to get this traffic from. The easiest way would be to simply put up some Google adwords up and out bid everyone. However not everyone has the money to do that. So you must find other ways to draw in quality traffic.

Some ways you could do this are from article marketing, blogging, free press releases, traffic swarm, word of month, and videos. Now these are just some free advertising methods. There are tons out there to do, but I find these to work the best.

Always remember though you do not want to send your traffic to a generic sales page. You first want to collect the users information then send them to a sales page. This way you can quickly follow up with them and help increase your conversions.

Why You Will Fail With Private Label Rights Products

By Randy Baustert

You might be wondering how I can say you will fail with private label rights products.

It is a statistical fact that 95% of the people that try to make money online fail. That makes me right 95% of the time.

Don”t worry, if you want to be one of the 5% that makes money online I have some tips for you that will help you succeed with private label rights products.

#1 Make sure you get a product with the proper rights.

There are a number of different rights and restrictions that come with private label products. You need to make sure you have the rights to do what you have planned with your product.

All private label rights products will let you edit the product, put your name on the product and resell the product. But that is all they have in common some of the rights that vary are:

* Whether or not you can claim copyright.
* Whether you can give away the end product.
* Whether you can sell the private label rights.
* Whether you can group the products.
* Whether you can sell in a membership site.
* Plus more. . .

Be sure you read the terms and conditions before you purchase the product. If it doesn”t give you the rights to do what you want to do keep on looking.

I personally find that the more restrictive products (no private label resale rights, no give away rights) are the ones that I can make the most profits from. But if you are trying to build a list by giving something away then you need to make sure you have giveaway rights.

#2 Make the private label product your own.

What does this mean?

It means actually use the rights that you have. At least 90% of the people that have the rights don”t change the name of the product or the graphics or the sales page, let alone the product itself.

Now, if you remember 95% of the people don”t make money, we have just accounted for a large percentage of them with this one step.

Change the name, change the graphics and most definitely change the product. Make it promote you and not the person you bought from.

Put your affiliate links in the product.

Put your name on the product.

Point the product to your site.

#3 Improve the end product.

Make your product better then the products of all the other people that purchases private label rights. You can do this by:

* Adding related bonuses to the product.
* Group some related articles with the product.
* Create an autoresponder series to go with the product.
* Create instructional tutorials to go with the product.
* Anything else you can think of to increase the apparent value of the product.

#4 Read or use the private label product.

This sounds like a rather obvious thing to say but I have purchased private label products that were absolutely trash. Not only providing poor information to the end user but giving damaging information.

Fortunately, I knew enough about the products to know they were trash and possibly even harmful so I didn”t use them or resell them until I had them fixed.

I have followed up on these products and found people selling them without changing the name or information at all. If they do manage to make a sale I doubt they will make a followup sale if their customers actually read the products.

#5 Avoid the cheap stuff.

From personal experience I found that you can profit a lot more from the higher priced private label rights products.

The reasons for this are:

* They are usually better quality products.
* They have fewer people selling them.
* They have better promotional materials included.
* They usually won”t let you sell the private label rights.

Remember the price is relative. If you buy a $27 PLR product and you don”t sell any or if you buy a $500 PLR product and you sell 100 of them at $97 each which actually cost you more?

The key is the first four points. If you don”t do those steps you will fail with private label products.

Creating a Winning Product for the Web

By Scott Michael

If you”re still scrambling to find a way to become the next big Internet Marketing guru, I have news for you - achieving wealth on the Internet is much easier now than when the top dogs first got started on the Net.

Before you can rake in the big bucks, you”ll need something to sell. We”re going to start out with a way you can reap the instant rewards the Internet has to offer - creating your own digital information products!

Don”t let the word “digital” scare you off - you don”t have to be a technical wizard or a top notch editor to put together a first class, high quality product that your customers will find very valuable.

Find Your Passion

I never recommend that anyone just find a popular topic and create a cookie cutter version of someone else’’s work. You might not be interested in that subject matter - and it will be apparent that your enthusiasm is missing when your customer downloads your product and finds that it falls flat.

Start by finding a topic that interests you or appeals to you. Don”t worry if you”re not an expert - you don”t have to be! The Internet is the most comprehensive library of resources you can find anywhere in the world - and it’’s open 24/7, 365 days a year.

When someone is looking for an information product, they”re generally seeking a solution to a problem. It could be a man who heard rumors of layoffs in the coming months… and he wants to find a way to forge his own path to success.

Or maybe it’’s a mother of twins, both of which suffer from colic and are crying for 18 hours a day. She’’s looking for anything to grasp onto - a solution that can help her end her baby’’s tears and get a good night’’s sleep.

Your passion might be about a solution you discovered to a problem that was nagging you in the past. Wouldn”t it be nice to share that information with others, and make a nice profit from your insights?

You can even choose a topic you”ve wanted to learn more about for years, but haven”t had the time to because you”ve been working the 9-5 grind in the drudgery of the real world.

Cashing in on Quality eBook Creation

Barnes and Noble is becoming a thing of the past as consumers are now turning to the joy of downloading their books on the Internet - even if it’’s 2:00 in the morning and they”re wrestling with insomnia.

You can create an informational eBook (not a fictional work) and put together a professional digital product that generates more income than if you”d had dozens of traditional books distributed by print publishers to hundreds of brick and mortar bookstores.

The Do-It-Yourself Route

For those of you who can put a sentence together, you”ll want to create your info product using your own unique “voice”. As you being to build your online empire, customers will become familiar with your style and begin to recognize you as an authority. And that opens the door to a flurry of back-end product sales!

To begin, choose a basic topic that interests you. It’’s best if you can find a niche audience to target. Some people mistakenly think the broader their topic, the higher the sales - but in reality, the more targeted your message, the higher the conversion rate.

Let’’s take the niche of parenting as an example. Don”t just create a Good Parenting 101 eBook. Get more specific, and think about future books you can create, such as:

- How to Get Your Baby to Sleep
- How to Teach Your Baby Sign Language
- How to Raise a Smart Baby
- How to Potty Train Your Baby
- How to Wean Your Baby to a Bottle
- How to Hire a Good Babysitter

Do you see the pattern? You want to take your customers through every issue a parent may have. Each time they buy a product, you start marketing back-end products to them for repeat sales.

This is the way successful Internet Marketers build their empire.
