Don\’t Worry, It Will Happen

By Jim Janowiak

Are you struggling with your internet business? Not making the money you were promised? Are you having a hard time getting started?

Believe me, these are very common problems. Tons of beginning internet marketers are having the same problems. Don”t feel alone and don”t think you won”t ever be successful at this. Others are sitting there right now trying to deal with the same problems are you are having. Know what the reality is? You”re on the right track!

The right track? How can that be? It can be because every successful internet marketer has been exactly where are. You better believe it. Although this business has a low cost of entrance, the learning curve is quite high. Putting all the software, marketing information, correct integration, right niches, and correct positioning together is a learned skill and takes time.

The business in a box doesn”t exist! The gurus forgot to tell you, didn”t they? You see, they just want to sell you bits and pieces of the puzzle. I believe they just want to sell you dreams. I”m not even sure they care if you make a dime in this business. Did they tell you the average person entering this business will have to master at least 10 new types of software? I”m starting to digress.

Well, let’’s get back to you. Okay, you”re sitting there, head spinning, not knowing what to do. You are probably wondering if this business is really right for you. Nothing is working and everything seems so complicated. The fact is, because you are sitting there reading this, you believe this business might be right for you. It probably is!

Let’’s review what this business really is for a minute, just in case you”ve forgotten. An internet marketing business is one of the best ways to make lots of money and have freedom of time once you master it. It takes very little money to get started and it is self-financing. An internet marketing business is not a get-rich-quick scheme. The gurus forgot to tell you that is a lot of work to learn the right techniques, the software, and the integration to make it all work. Unfortunately, there is very little good straight and to the point step-by-step training.

Back to you, help is out there. Successful internet marketers all went through exactly what you are experiencing. The reason they are successful and others are not is simply persistence. You see, the industry can”t fail you but you can fail in the industry. You fail the industry and yourself when you give up. Don”t even think about not moving forward!

Listen, if you want direct, no-nonsense and to the point information, there is a source. No BS and no hype. But you will have to do the work and arm yourself with the tools that will push your success. It won”t be easy and you will have to read, study, practice, listen and learn.

Of course, you will also have to be yourself. You will put your own spin and creativity into your business. Before you”re through, you may develop new techniques and strategies. We would like to see you succeed and have put together some basic steps for you to follow.

If you arm yourself with the proper tools and master these tools, success will be yours. Good luck and we”ll see you there!

Want Great Customer Service? Then You Gotta Know What to Ask!

By Jinger Jarrett

The longer you”ve been online, the more likely you are to have had some type of problem. Maybe you bought a product and then realized you didn”t know how to use it. Sometimes, no matter how many times you read the documentation, you just don”t get it.

That’’s OK because none of us knows everything there is to know about everything. What you need is support.

Here are five things you can do to get the best possible customer service and resolve your problem as quickly as possible.

1. Decide exactly what the problem is. Did you not receive the product? Don”t understand the instructions? If you have other questions, write these down. Then you may ask all of your questions at the same time and get answers faster.

2. Find out how to contact the company. If you bought the product online, you will need to go back to the original site. Look for a “Contact US” or “Support” page. If you bought an affiliate product, you need to contact the original site. Most affiliates won”t have access to the product or the information you need.

Find the best way to contact the site. Legitimate sites will have a way for you to contact them to get your problem solved, and they will offer clear contact instructions.

3. If the site offers a FAQ, read over the FAQ. See if your question has been answered already. This will save you a ton of time if the question has already been answered.

4. If you have followed the steps above, and you still don”t know the answer, contact the company. State your problem as clearly as you can. Include relevant links, receipts, email messages, error messages or anything else. By providing as much information as possible, you save the company, and yourself, time in having to both answer and research the problem.

5. Check back to see if your support request has been answered. Many companies now use support desks because email is so unreliable. Rarely is it necessary to use the phone to resolve a support request unless you are a complete technophobe, or this is the only way you may contact the company.

If the ticket is closed, this usually means the problem has been solved. Read the solution. If you still need assistance, reopen the ticket and add further questions/comments.

Above all, keep your cool. It’’s easy to get frustrated and lose your temper. You will resolve the problem more quickly if you do.

Use these strategies, and you”ll get your customer issues solved more quickly. One thing all businesses have in common is we want to help our customers. How may we help you?

Putting Your Web Site on the Internet

By Steven Sharpe

You need a web server to put your web site on the internet. Sometimes, owning and maintaining a web server can cost money and it requires someone who knows what they are doing to maintain the server and the web-site.

However, you do not need to own your own server, a web host can do this for you. They provide equipment and other technical programs that are required to allow a customer to build a web site. These hosting companies charge a monthly fee for storing your web site and allowing your web site to be seen on the internet.

Within that fee, it allows web site visitor traffic to flow through their servers so that internet users can view your web site on the internet.

The physical web server does not reside at the consumers home or business, which means that the web host services are designated as outsourced services. This means that the hosting organization that you choose has the responsibility of maintaining your site structure, files and web pages. If the server goes down it is their job to ensure it is back up and running with minimal loss of service to your website.

Many web hosts provide excellent services that really assist individuals and business owners. All the weight of maintaining the host servers and applications fall on the hosting company and not the individual and as a business owner, this is great because there are so many technical routines that you have to do daily to maintain a server. Leave it to someone else and focus on your main business.

When you pick a web host to handle your internet server needs, you will achieve the following:

You streamline your internet costs getting the maximum from your hosting provider;

Work with knowledgeable technicians;

You pass IT control functions to the host so you won”t have to worry about maintaining servers and other equipment.

You can self publish your site and use the web host to handle the technical aspects of server management. The host that you choose will give you the capability to load your own web site on to the server and allow you to process updates and revisions to your web page.

Web hosting doesn”t include developing your site (unless they have a special development program) or the development of certain customized programs. You have to develop the programs (web-site or server side code) yourself or have someone do it for you. Although if you are only looking to put a basic business information page or personal page up, the majority of hosts have some kind of site builder software installed in your cPanel for you to use.

If you are a relatively newbie to web hosting, I would recommend going for a Linux based package which includes the cPanel software as it is relatively easy to use and contains some excellent add on scripts, including various forms of site builder software.

Steve has been building web sites for a number of years and uses Linux/cPanel based hosting on every single one. He runs a website entitled Cool Net Host which identifies the best web hosts on the internet today.

4 Reasons For Artists To Take Their Masterpieces To The Internet

By Sen Ze

Artists who work with oil paints, watercolors and canvases may seem rather old-fashioned with the increasing advancements of computer software designed specifically to draw and paint digitally.

Although there can be no replacement for the skill, purity and simplicity displayed in an oil-on-canvas painting, as compared to a digitally rendered one, the commercial value of artists has certainly declined with much of today’’s art work being created by their digital counterparts.

So how can ”old-school” artists start generating enough income to maintain their profession, without giving in to the pressure of turning to graphic software? It may seem somewhat ironical, but the Internet (in all its technological glory) could in fact prove a viable way for artists to boost their fortunes.

Artists who set up their own domains (using their own names, of course) and blogs will find that they have not only uncovered a great method of sharing their art with the world, but have opened themselves up to a myriad of wonderful opportunities. If you are an artist, here are 4 great reasons why you should immediately be investing in your own domain.

1. A World Wide Audience
Because artwork on canvas is significantly more difficult to pass around (as opposed to the ease of a JPEG file!), the people who get to view an artists work are often restricted to those who have visited the artists workshop or has had the artist send some copies of his work over.

With a website or a blog, however, an artist can easily take digital pictures of his work and put them on his blog, even commenting on the inspiration behind the painting and the techniques used. This would be akin to you - the artists - showing someone around a gallery your work!

But of course, the advantage of showing them around on a blog is that your viewers and fans of your work can access your website from all over the world, at any time, from any place with an Internet connection, leaving you to do what you do best - art.

2. Meet Other Artists And Build A Useful Network
It’’s always useful for artists to know other artists, as it invariably means that you create more opportunities for yourself and your career. For example, an artist you likes your art and has been invited to show his or her work in an exhibition may help to get your work displayed as well.

By having a presence on the Internet, you will meet a large number of other budding artists like yourself from all over the world, which may prove to be invaluable contacts in the future. You will also allow yourself to be found online by art gallery owners and managers, art collectors and other art aficionados, any of whom may play a role in advancing your career.

3. Sell Art Online
Of course, the most obvious commercial aspect of any website for an artist would be the selling of his or her artwork. Once you have set up your domain and blog, you can also arrange for an online merchant account, which will enable you to sell your art online to customers who will pay using their credit cards.

As an artist, this may not the most ideal way to sell your art work, but it can be an effective way for you to make money selling smaller art pieces, which you can then send to your customers anywhere in the world using a decent courier service. Just selling one piece of work a month can more than cover the cost of running and maintaining a blog!

4. Open To Commercial Opportunities
Aside from selling your work, a website or blog opens the artist up to other opportunities from which money can be made. For example, a frequent visitor to your website who enjoys your art may commission you to create an artwork for a decent fee. Or you may be invited to sell your art at an auction after an organizer of the event came across your website.

The opportunities are endless and mind-boggling, and with an open mind, any artist can take advantage of the vast untapped expanse of the Internet to give their career and finances a serious boost!

What is the Future of the Internet and What Will it Hold for Us?

By Mark Hirst

As a novice web designer this question probably looms in your head. What are the ways to be a better web designer? Mastering the visual design, usability, utilization, and coding are some of the most important issues to have an effective design implementation of web site. Aside from those issues, however, knowing the basic details is an important element of essential web design; either you are just starting to work as web designer or a professional one.

Some of the most essential things every web designers should know:

Know your goal. As a web designer, what is your first goal that comes into your mind when building a website? Maybe, making money online or to tell a story with a personal website on the web. But wanting and building a good web site is another one. Your first goal therefore is to have an effective web design. In marketing sense, a poor web design has no sales. And no sale means no traffic and no visitors. A poor design is as good as a web site not existing.

Build a website and keep it simple. We always heard this dictum that simplicity is beauty. Simplicity must always be the first guiding principle when you start thinking and developing your ideas to your website. With all the tools and technology are just within our reach, it must be attempting to build a complex web design. This is a no-no. Visiting readers visits a website to find information and it always their instant gratification that guides them. They demand you to give them the information as fast and clearly as possible. Failure to meet their expectation to your website, there is always the back button they can hit and you would likely lose your visitors because of poor implementation of your website.

Know the HTML. If you aspire to be a better web designer in this field, master your HTML. HTML is the right tool to have an effective web design. This will help you execute properly your ideas that will make your website worthwhile and interactive to visitors.

If you don”t know a single thing about HTML, there is always the Google search engine that can help you have some basic knowledge about HTML. You can search for online tutorial (like w3school tutorial for HTML) and start studying HTML with your own risk.

Use basic fonts. In web design there are fonts that are considered to be web safe. These web safe fonts like “Helvetica”, “Arial”, and “Time New Roman” are widely used and installed for every computer. When you use a font that your visitors do not have installed in the computer, the web browser will choose default fallback fonts. These fallback fonts will likely destroy your website’’s layout and make the content difficult to read.

Stick with standard layout. A flash-basedweb sitecreates an impression of creativity. However, most Internet users nowadays expect a conventional layout. Understand that your visitors hate to wait and flash-based layout takes time to upload. With conventional layout, you can be certain that it does not slow down the browsing process and helps maintain a good user interface.

Keep your images small. Try to design your website with graphics small in file size. The lower the file size of images, the faster the loading process of your web site. Save the images with graphic formats such as jpeg, GIF, or PNG extension.

Keep your code clean. Learn the proper technique of coding HTML. Keeping your HTML’’s code clean helps your site to load faster and conserve bandwidth.

Avoid distracting elements on your page. Design your web page with balance between those animated gifs and flashy advertisement. Place them in a proper table in a way that it is not distracting and annoying to visitors.

Attraction Marketing Delivers Pre Qualified Web Site Traffic

By Todd Ash

If you are one of the majority of people who lack focus in your business then get yourself a network marketing mentor. You need to develop a long term mindset in network marketing.

On paper, it looks most appealing and it’’s the one mesmerizing aspect of network marketing which can leave people looking at the industry for the first time frothing at the mouth. The interesting thing was it didn”t mention once the use of multi level marketing or MLM companies or even products and rather than being harassed into looking at an opportunity, I was made aware of the importance of creating extra streams of income using various methods. The term over-deliver has become fashionable within Internet Marketing and you better believe it is just as effective when used in Network Marketing.

The power of attraction marketing is to draw the prospects to you, meaning I get to work with people who actually want to build a business from home and who are interested in the solutions I can provide. I have a successful business teaching entrepreneurs and small business owners how to attract opportunities into their businesses so they can increase profits and live the lives of their dreams — just as I did with the Law Of Attraction and practical marketing methodology.

We all know that successfully marketing any product or service over time depends on staying current with new techniques and new tools proven to work. You can either attract or repel prospects in your traditional marketing activities such as networking, direct mail, your web site, your brochure, your business graphics, your product or services, etc.

You can also attract or repel prospects in your invisible marketing, the way you present yourself, your attitude, the tone you use, subtleties in the way you run your small business, your thoughts, your actions, your motivation, etc. Obviously, Attraction Marketing is the way you MUST market your small business.

By incorporating Attraction Marketing, your prospect is attracted to you. This got me thinking about how in attraction marketing we try to pull people towards us by honestly sharing our experiences and trying to help others by being a provider of solutions. Then I realized that attraction marketing is in essence a very spiritual practice and I began to think about what I call “spiritual marketing”.

Secondly, spiritual marketing to me has nothing to do with using the “power of prayer” or the “law of attraction” to miraculously manifest a truckload of cash in your backyard. The essence of spiritual marketing can be found in the Golden Rule.

I think it”d be great to see the coin phrase: “attraction marketing” supported by the golden rule, but the phrase “spiritual marketing” in this realm seems a little, well, off the mark. I really find this idea of spiritual marketing intriguing.

Attraction marketing is how professionals generate mlm leads and build their network marketing businesses. Attraction marketing is all about targeting the right MLM prospects and then pre-selling them over a period of time.Attraction marketing is the process you need to consider if you want an extra 10, 15, 20 or 100 prospects coming to you and wanting to hear about your offer.

Which Is Really The Best Browser For You?

By Andres Berger

The very best way to determine if some browser is the one for you is to download your personal copy and test it, since all are free. It only takes a few minutes and your new browser is up and running. If you choose to download Mozilla, you can get additional tools to personalize your copy of Firefox, thereby making it even better. You can download the Google and Yahoo toolbars with built in Pop-up blockers and antivirus protection.

One of the great features of this browser is the toolbar for the homepage, which is very much like your toolbar in Windows Word. Instead of leaving your browser as you have to do with some other browsers you can simply click on File on the left side of the Browser and go to a Blank document or to Open file and then to My documents.

On the downside, the Firefox toolbar cannot be configured as you like as the toolbar on Internet Explorer.

If you are doing research on the Internet and need to make notes or write an article there is no need to move back to your desktop and open Word or Wordpad while using Firefox as you do with some browsers. You simply click on File on your toolbar and a drop down menu appears. Click on the new document icon for a blank page or click on Open file, if you want to continue writing in a document, you already have as a working document. Click on My Documents and click on the File you want to open. Notice your browser Toolbar looks like the Word toolbar because you have an Editor built into your new Browser. It is easy to open a Blank document or an existing File from your new browser.

While writing notes, continuing with a working Document or writing an entry for your blog you can work offline. There is no need to stay online and you do not need to close your Mozilla browser. On the right side of your toolbar click on Tools and a drop down menu will appear, simply click on Work Offline, and then return to your document and do your writing. When you have completed your notes, blog entry or your document you can go back online by doing this. Click on your Tools link in the toolbar when the drop down menu appears click on Work Offline and you will be back online immediately.

The Top Symptoms Of Spyware On Your PC

By Alex Miller

Firstly, it is very important that you understand the difference between viruses and spyware because they are completely different.

I will define them below, but an anti-virus product will not deal with spyware issues and therefore it must be tackled seperately.

Let me go through both:

Viruses:

A virus spreads malicious software from computer to computer which can cause disastrous effects to your system.

They can be caught through downloading files, receiving emails, floppy disks, USB’’s, CD’’s etc.

These viruses can only be removed effectively using Anti-Virus software, which your computer comes with when first purchased. (I talk more about this on Day 5 of my course - sign up above if you”re interested)

Spyware:

Spyware is unwanted software which collects information about you without you knowing. It’’s caught through regular use of the internet.

The spyware itself can monitor your keystrokes, scan files on the hard drive, install other spyware programs and gather information about your email addresses, passwords and credit card numbers.

Spyware cannot be removed with an Anti-Virus product because the software see’’s spyware as a ‘’safe and trustworthy file” due to being programmed to only detect viruses.

For this reason, Anti-Spyware software was produced to get rid of the spyware. If both types of software are used together, you can enjoy a bug-free and speedy computer.

You might be thinking to yourself though, how do I know if I have spyware problems?

Below are detectable symptoms of spyware:

- Your PC Runs Slower Than Normal

- You are Bombarded With Annoying Pop-Up Ads

- New Toolbars Have Been Added To Your Web Browser

- Unknown Programs / Icons / Desktop Shortcuts Have Been Installed On Your Computer

- For Unknown Reasons, Your PC Will Crash & Literally Have A Mind of Its Own!

If you have noticed any of these criteria above, I strongly suggest you look into solving the problem as soon as possible.

In order to solve the problem the quickest and most efficient way is to use a spyware removal program.

Basically, these products will scan your entire PC for you, checking every single area in the search for spyware and adware infections.

If they find any, you have the option of either quarantining the infection or deleting it completely.

The only reason someone would quarantine an infection over deleting it is because it may be a file that your computer needs (ie the antispyware product *may* make a mistake, but this is very unlikely).

Be warned though, make sure that you choose a reliable spyware removal software product, because there are many out there that simply do not deliver what they claim to.

Learn How To Clean Spyware Today

By Alex Miller

If you want to be 99.9% safe when using the Internet, and clean off spyware from your computer, you need to use an antispyware software product. Essentially, this will obliterate all the spyware problems that you might have. Many users think that using an anti-virus product will remove spyware, but this is 100% incorrect.

Please read the next sentence very carefully:

Important!

You *cannot* get rid of spyware with anti-virus software, because the software simply won”t detect them. The software sees the spyware on your computer as a ‘’safe and trustworthy file” as it has been programmed to only detect viruses. For this reason, Anti-Spyware software was produced. If both types of software are used together, you can enjoy using a bug-free computer.

Which Is Best?

Now that you know an anti-spyware product is needed, you now need to make sure you have the best product for the job. I”m sure that you have seen a number of spyware removers on the Internet. I have to say, this kind of software is *brilliant*. It scans your entire computer (just like an anti-virus package would) and it will get rid of all spyware infections no knowledge or action is needed on your part. Brilliant eh!

Problem!

Many of these spyware removal products only get rid of the *majority* of spyware infections. This problem is even worse with the free products, they simply have tiny spyware databases and so it leaves your computer half done. Not good, and not a solution to take. I”ve been extremely unlucky in the past having purchased (and consequently refunded) 5-6 software packages. Eventually I came across one product that actually lived up to the job. I highly recommend it to you because it really does *remove* all those horrible spyware infections.

Best Feature:

If it can”t remove a certain spyware virus that you have lurking on your computer, the software will send the details to the company, and they will *personally* see that it is removed. So there you have it, you now know how to clean spyware off your computer.

Summary:

Make sure that you use an anti-spyware product and that you don”t attempt to remove any spyware manually.

Steer clear off the 100% free packages because, even though they are free, they simply won”t remove many threats and will leave your computer partly infected.

It may be that you think spending money on anti-virus and anti-spyware is unnecessary, but look at it this way.
When you buy a car, you need to fill it up with petrol, replace the oil, top up the windscreen washer fluid, check the tyres, take it in for a service, etc.

Well to be honest, when you buy a computer, i”m afraid you can”t expect to just use it and never look after it. You need to run antivirus programs, antispyware programs and consistently defragment it.

Otherwise, you run the risk of your computer breaking down and not working.

Why Start Up A Public Data Based Website?

By Dionisio Gomez

Interested in an easy new way to start up your own Internet business? In this short article I am going to talk about how you can start a quick and easy business using totally free content.

I am talking about public data as the sole content for your new money maker.

So why should you make your own Internet start-up with public data? Just look at some of the benefits:

It,s Easy

The hardest part of making money from public data sources is finding the source of data! And let me tell you: that’’s pretty easy, too! These wells of information are easy to find, easy to organize and easy to market. Is that enough “easy” for you?
It’’s Cheap

Much of the time, public data sources are just that”public. This means that the information belongs to the general public and is free. Free! It should be noted, however, that not all data is free. Be sure you find a data source that has yet to become a part of a proprietary work. Finding public domain information makes it possible for you to spend virtually nothing to start up your site. The outcome is immediate profit with a very low overhead.
It’’s Versatile

You can do just about anything with a public data source. There are so many public data sources out there that you”re sure to find the particular genre that suits you perfectly. If you want to give people access to magazine subscriptions, the information is out there and you can. If you want to share all of the best horoscope websites with your visitors, the data is out there, and you can do that too. The versatility comes with the data source format. The profits come from finding a unique market for which you can offer extensive data and information from all over the Internet on one site that’’s convenient and organized.
No Special Training

You don”t have to be a web specialist, be fluent in MySQL or even have a firm grasp on Internet trends. All you need is a profitable data source and the drive to see your project through. You can take a heap of unorganized data and information and transform it into a convenient, organized website that can be navigated and searched with ease.

Public data consists of anything compiled by many new sources but lets use home foreclosure data in this example. Many only court databases have this data available, and many real estate agents or mortgage brokers would love to have access to this kind of data for purposes of buying and selling these houses.

There are many other reasons one would want this kind of data such as car dealers, because once one files for bankruptcy they can not do so again for seven years, so these are prime candidates for sub-prime auto loans, they are almost an instant approval.

Can you think of any other ideas for this kind of data?
